Hi, I am Dr Maja Wieladek
I am a Clinical Psychologist, trained in the UK and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
For the past seven years, I have provided psychological therapies in NHS services, supporting both adults and young people with different mental health needs and neurodevelopmental profiles.
My approach is based on understanding your unique situation. Instead of just looking at symptoms, I work with you to explore how your difficulties started and what keeps them going. This way, therapy is shaped around your needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
I use a mix of evidence-based therapies, such as CBT, ACT, and compassion-focused therapy, along with trauma-informed and relational approaches. You can read more about my approach here.
Clients often say my style is thoughtful, direct, and engaged. I am not a silent observer; I will work with you to understand what is going on and help you make real changes.
I provide online therapy to adults living across the UK.
I am based in Glasgow, Scotland.
