Who I work with:
Adults (18+)
Individuals seeking psychological therapy
Remote work across the UK
I support adults who are dealing with a variety of psychological difficulties, such as:
Anxiety (e.g. generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic)
Low self-esteem and self-criticism
Stress and burnout
Depression and low mood
OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder)
Difficulty managing emotions
Trauma and PTSD
Anger
I also work with people living with long-term physical health conditions, and the emotional toll these can take.
I support individuals with neurodevelopmental differences, including autism and ADHD. This may include those with a diagnosis seeking post-diagnostic support, as well as those exploring whether assessment might be helpful.*
I also work with people experiencing several of these difficulties at once.
* At this time, I do not provide ASD/ADHD assessments.
What to expect
Starting therapy can feel uncertain, particularly if this is your first time.
My aim is to make the process clear, structured, and manageable.
Free 15–20 minute video consultation
I offer a brief, free video call to discuss what you are looking for and whether I am the right fit for you.
This initial consultation is an opportunity to:
Briefly outline what you’re looking for support with
ask questions about how I work
decide whether we are a good fit
This is not a therapy session.
If we decide to proceed, I will send full details and a therapy agreement following the call.
Please note: I do not offer a crisis service. If you need urgent mental health support, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or Samaritans on 116 123.
What Happens Next
If We Proceed
If we agree that this is a good fit, we can arrange the first full session.
Before your first full session, you will be asked to complete a short form covering relevant background information, as well as consent and confidentiality documents. This ensures you have the necessary information and helps me prepare for our work.
Initial sessions
The first sessions focus on understanding your current difficulties, background, and what you would like help with. Assessment may take more than one session, allowing us to develop a shared understanding and agree on goals.
Ongoing work
If we decide to continue, sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly and last 60 minutes. Therapy combines structured, evidence-based approaches with space to explore your experiences.
We will decide together on the approach and focus, and review these as we go along.
You can read more about my therapeutic approach here.
Ongoing Review and Fit
We will regularly check in on your progress.
If at any point this service is not the best fit, we will talk about it and suggest other options if needed.
Ending Therapy
We will review progress and plan the ending of therapy together, including consolidating what has been helpful and considering next steps if needed.
Suitability
This service may not be appropriate where therapy is required as part of court, insurance, or litigation processes, or where there is no current intention to engage in therapy.
In some situations, more intensive or multidisciplinary support may be needed (e.g. high-risk presentations, severe eating difficulties, psychosis, or substance dependence). Where appropriate, alternative services will be recommended.
